MPowering Kids is a non-profit charitable organization. Our mission is to provide after-school tutoring, mentoring, cultural enrichment and community service programs for motivated students in under-served communities. In addition, MPowering Kids seeks to educate and involve the community at large in an effort to engage youth in mentor relationships, philanthropic action and access to academic enrichment as a pathway out of poverty. The MPowering Kids students stay in the program from their fourth grade year through their high school graduation, offering nine years of programs and opportunities to acquire the skills, habits and attitudes necessary to succeed in college and in life.
